Be A Volunteer!
Children’s Grief Center Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Facilitator
Are you a good listener? Volunteers are needed to help facilitate our peer support group. Volunteers are skillfully prepared through our 15-hour facilitator training where they learn communication skills like Reflective Listening and participate in creative activities to connect and share with each other in training. They are asked to make a commitment for one year of group, September to May. Groups meet bi-monthly. Consistent attendance is important to ensure consistency for kids and their families.

Share Your Talent
Do you dance, have theater experience, want to share your love for art, sewing, crafts, or music? We could use your talents in setting up and creating packets to be used for grief group activities, collaborate and brainstorm ideas to use in a group for creative crafts, games, making samples, setting up supply lists, etc.
Do you enjoy Fundraising, Marketing, Finance, Budgeting, or Public Relations? Consider joining an Advisory Board.
